Cod treated in lye solution before boiled. Served with mashed peas, bacon, baconfat and boiled potatoes. “Lefse” (a soft potato bread), syrup, mustard and white sauce served on the side. Goat chesse, warm mustard sauce and Colman’s mustard served as desired.
